Most children will enjoy building dens indoors and out - creating a private space where the can hide out with their friends. Dens are great places for telling stories, snacks and playing games.

Indoor dens can be made with fabric simply thrown over a table or chairs or collection of furniture pulled together. Children will like to drag cushions and fabrics inside den to make it cosy and comfortable, so have plenty of these around them to use.
